Piranha Single Operator Ironworkers are the most versatile line of hydraulic
ironworkers in the market today. Built in America for over 25 years,
Piranha Single Operator Ironworkers provide six (6) standard workstations:
1. Punching
2. Bending
3. Round or Square Bar Shearing
4. Flat Bar Shearing
5. Angle Iron Shearing (no slug loss)
6. Coping/Notching
Piranha Ironworkers also offer automatic urethane hold downs on the
round/square bar shear, the flat bar shear and the angle iron shear
workstations as well as automatic urethane punch stripper. These unique,
standard features guarantee precise cuts and longer service life for your
punches and shear knives. Our punch station features a dovetail slide
for quick tooling changes and the ability to accommodate a wide variety
of optional and special tooling.
Piranha Ironworkers are built to machine tool tolerances: we don't use shims, set screws or adjustable gibs to achieve the appropriate shear knife clearance. We feature a patented floating upper angle iron shear knife minimizes distortion and material loss since it does not remove a slug on each cut. Our simple design combined with heavy duty construction, low rake angle and high horse power motors give Piranha the ability to be a reliable workhorse for any fabrication environment.
Standard Single Operator models range in tonnage from 36, 50, 70,
90, and 120 tons
and offer a wide variety of optional tooling to increase your productivity and
