Whether you are a small job shop or a
plant providing components as part of a multi-plant,
multi-national manufacturing enterprise, if you need to
punch or notch your products, you need know about UniPunch’s
proven Unitized Tooling systems. In today’s competitive
environment, cost competitiveness, speed of production, and
time to market are all critical factors to a company’s
success.
The UniPunch Unitized Tooling systems enable
you to address all of these concerns. Minimize your costs
with the lower investment required for Unitized Tooling and
by faster production speeds. Reduce manufacturing time by
punching multiple holes and notches in a single hit, and
speed product introduction using readily available standard
components to quickly produce your newly designed parts.
Since starting nearly half a century ago,
UniPunch has helped thousands of manufacturers and
fabricators select the right punching and notching solutions
to maximize productivity and reduce costs. We continue to do
it for factories that use process improvement techniques
like Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints. We invite
today’s manufacturers and fabricators to contact us and let
us help minimize tooling investment and reduce both setup
and processing time.
The result is lower part costs, greater
scheduling flexibility, higher productivity, and that means
increased job security for employees in today’s lean
factories.
A group of innovative engineers started UniPunch in
Niagara Falls, New York with what was then a new concept
to more effectively produce punches for “C-Frame,” or as
it has come to be known, “Unitized” Tooling. By the
early 1950’s our quality and service was such that
customers asked us to expand our product line. As a
result we quickly began providing units and complete
punching and notching systems to meet our customers’
needs.
UniPunch Products continued with this spirit of
innovation and became the world’s largest manufacturer
of Unitized Tooling. Then in 1999, we purchased the
Strippit and Pierce-All Unitized Tooling product lines.
We currently have the broadest range of standard
components available in the industry. In addition, our
engineering staff has the experience and expertise to
design custom tooling to meet specific customer
requirements, and we continue to be the leader in
developing new applications for Unitized Tooling.
Currently, UniPunch Products operates from
manufacturing facilities in Buffalo, New York, and Clear
Lake, Wisconsin, and is adding a sales and application
engineering staff at our corporate offices in Woodbury,
an eastern suburb of the twin cities of Minneapolis and
St. Paul, Minnesota.
